John sits on the
Board of Trustees of the
Development of Vietnam
Endeavors, a 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to
helping the poorest areas and people of Vietnam with various
humanitarian efforts. 100% of all

Tom is a boyhood
friend of John's, and a fellow Vietnam Vet.
It was by God's design that they reunited in
2005, which was the first step in John's journey
of healing and hope. Tom is a founding
member of the
D.O.V.E. Fund, a regular columnist
for the Monroe Evening News in Monroe, Michigan,
has written two books and has just released a CD
single titled The Wide Road.
The official website for the
Vietnam Veterans of Company A, 70th Engineers
(Combat) (Army), 1965-1969. This was
John's Battalion and Company during his one year tour in
Vietnam.
Bill Barnes is an
excellent photographer in Monroe, MI. John
has used Bill in the past for not only the
author's photograph for his book, but also for
his daughter's wedding.
